Il existe une tradition secrète, mystique, très mystérieuse qui est toujours en cours d'exécution au travers de l'histoire et des principes ésotériques des rosicruciens. Elle n'est jamais complètement comprise autant dans son symbolisme que dans son utilité pratique jusqu'à ce que l'étudiant atteigne les plus hauts degrés. Je fais référence à l'ouverture de la tombe de C.R.C. 

Il incombe à tous les groupes de dirigeants de chaque branche de l'Ordre Rosicrucien à travers le monde, périodiquement au cours de chaque siècle, d'ouvrir la tombe de Christian Rosenkreuz et de rendre publique ce qui a été tenu dans les ténèbres afin de donner au monde ce qui constituera la plus grande lumière.

Non seulement le «corps» de C. R. C. est exhumé de la tombe, mais, après un certain temps, il est enfoui à nouveau dans l'attente du prochain retrait périodique. Mais les secrets préservés dans de rares manuscrits, sculptés en hiéroglyphes sur les murs de la tombe, gravés sur des morceaux de métal, inscrits sur des bijoux ou marqués avec du sang sur des morceaux de parchemins, devront également être préparés à revivre avec des interprétations modernes et des applications pratiques.

Opening the Tomb

THERE is one very mysterious, mystical, secret tradition running through the history and esoteric principles of the Rosicrucians which is never completely understood either in its symbolism or practical usefulness until the student has reached the highest degrees. I refer to the opening of the tomb of C. R. C.

It falls to the lot of each group of chief executives of each branch of the Rosicrucian Order throughout the world, periodically in each century, to open the tomb of Christian Rosenkreuz and release therefrom that which has been held in darkness and give to the world that which will constitute the greater light. Not only is the "body" of C. R. C. to be taken from the tomb and after a period of time reburied again to await the next periodical removal, but the secrets preserved in rare manuscripts or carved hieroglyphs on the wall of the tomb, engraved upon pieces of metal, inscribed on jewels and marked with blood on pieces of parchment, are also to be made alive again with modern interpretation and practical application.
